`chat-gpt-agent` is a standalone codebase designed to be moved into its own repository later without carrying the original app with it.

It includes an admin dashboard for settings, provider credentials, branding, files, and actions, plus a hosted chat page and website widget.

The runtime stays provider-agnostic by storing threads locally and using your own knowledge ingestion instead of provider-managed assistants.
